With the ever-increasing deluge of idiocy coming out of the Washington bureaucracy these days, I felt compelled to return for solace to the wisdom of my old friend Shakespeare. And in one of my favorite of his writings, it almost seems as though he knew Donald Trump personally:

“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more.
It is a tale
Told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury
Signifying nothing.”

– William Shakespeare, Macbeth, Act V, Scene 5

Uncanny, isn’t it?

Just sayin’ . . .
