Yesterday was not one of my better days. It was just a sinus headache on top of a restless night’s sleep; but it was enough to interfere with my plans for the day, and my overall mood — especially after perusing the daily ration of depressing world news.
But I didn’t want to give in to it for another day, so I turned to a wise man for inspiration, and found this last night:
“There is a saying in Tibetan, ‘Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.’ No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that’s our real disaster.”
– Dalai Lama XIV

So, here’s to holding out hope for a better day today.
Just sayin’ . . .
