They have finally killed him. The hearts of good people everywhere are shattered. Russia will not be free in our lifetimes.

surprised it took them this long. What a tragedy. Russia is a pariah. perhaps Putin will die off somehow, but I won’t hold my breath

Even without Putin, the immediate future for Russia is grim – an internal fight among the remaining monsters, each of whom is as bad as, or worse than, Putin himself; or an all-out people’s revolution. 1917 was bad enough; a repeat would be unimaginable.
