This will be brief, because as I’ve already told the world, I’m cutting back on the writing for a few weeks to concentrate on my upcoming interstate move. But I can’t resist three quick comments on this week’s news:

1. Hooray for the Knicks!
2. Hooray for the people taking down the extraneous lettering from the Kennedy Center!
3. Hooray for Ukraine’s counter-attacks on Russian territory! (But please don’t hit the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.)
   

That’s it. Back to work now.
